About Frame Bolt

Frame Bolt publishes plain-English explainers on energy, sleep, nutrition and men’s health after 45. This page tells you who we are, how we make money, and what we will and will not publish — so you can weigh what you read here accordingly.

Who publishes this site

Frame Bolt is owned and operated by RENATA FRANZOTE PEROZINI DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE LTDA (CNPJ 57.960.222/0001-73). You can reach us at [email protected] or through our contact page. Our postal address is listed in the footer of every page.

Who writes here

Raphaela Santos is the founding editor of Frame Bolt.

Raphaela has written about consumer health and nutrition for eight years. She is not a clinician; her role is to read the research carefully and report what it does and does not support.

We are writers and researchers, not clinicians. Nobody on this site is your doctor, and nothing we publish is a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Where a topic touches on something that needs medical judgement — and with fatigue in men over 45, it frequently does — we say so and point you to a doctor rather than to a product.

How we are funded

This site is reader-supported through affiliate commissions. When we link to a product and you buy it, the merchant pays us a percentage. You pay the same price either way.

We think you should know two further things about that arrangement:

  • We have a commercial interest in you clicking those links. That is a real conflict of interest and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It is why we label every affiliate link, disclose at the top of every article, and try to be specific about what a product will not do.
  • We are not the manufacturer or the seller of any product we write about. We do not handle orders, payment, shipping, or refunds. Those are between you and the merchant, under their terms.

Our full affiliate disclosure has the details.

Standards we hold ourselves to

  • We cite primary research. Where we state a figure — a rate of decline, a prevalence, a study result — we name the study so you can check it. We link to reviews and journal articles rather than to other people’s summaries.
  • We do not publish invented testimonials. No fabricated customer stories, no stock-photo before-and-afters, no made-up doctor endorsements. If we quote someone, it is a real person who agreed to it.
  • We do not use false urgency. No fake countdown timers, no invented stock counters, no “3 bottles left” that resets when you reload.
  • We do not make disease claims. Dietary supplements are not permitted to claim they diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and we will not imply it either.
  • We say what a product cannot do. Every product article here has a section on limitations. It is the most useful part and it is the part most sites leave out.
  • We tell you when to see a doctor. Persistent fatigue can be the first sign of sleep apnea, thyroid disease, anaemia, diabetes, or depression. We would rather send you for a blood test than sell you a bottle.

Corrections

If you find an error — a misquoted study, a stale price, a broken link — write to [email protected] and we will correct it. Every page carries the date it was last reviewed.

What this site is not

It is not a medical resource, a pharmacy, or a substitute for professional advice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking on behalf of any manufacturer, government agency, or medical body. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
