Medical disclaimer

Last updated August 19, 2026

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath at rest, fainting or near-fainting, sudden severe fatigue, unexplained weight loss, or any symptom that feels serious to you. In the United States, call 911. Do not use this website to make decisions in an urgent situation.

This is not medical advice

The content on Frame Bolt is published by RENATA FRANZOTE PEROZINI DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE LTDA for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not establish a doctor–patient relationship of any kind.

We are writers and researchers. We are not physicians, and we are not your physician. Nothing here should be used as a substitute for the advice of a licensed healthcare provider who knows your history, your medications, and your circumstances.

Always consult a professional

Talk to a qualified healthcare provider before you:

  • Start, stop, or change any dietary supplement
  • Start, stop, or change any prescription or over-the-counter medication
  • Begin a new exercise programme, particularly if you have been sedentary or have cardiovascular risk factors
  • Make significant changes to your diet
  • Act on anything you have read on this site

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.

Supplement–drug interactions are real

Dietary supplements can interact with prescription medications, including blood thinners, blood pressure medication, antidepressants, diabetes medication, and thyroid medication. “Natural” does not mean “without effect” or “without risk”.

Your pharmacist can check a specific supplement against your current medication list, usually in under a minute and at no cost. Bring the label. This is the single most useful thing you can do before starting anything new.

Regulatory status of dietary supplements

In the United States, dietary supplements are regulated under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA). They are not reviewed or approved by the Food and Drug Administration for safety or effectiveness before they go on sale.

Statements about any product on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. No product discussed here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Who should be particularly careful

Do not use dietary supplements without medical supervision if you are under 18, pregnant or nursing, scheduled for surgery within two weeks, living with liver or kidney disease, managing a diagnosed medical condition, or taking prescription medication.

Individual results vary

Response to any supplement varies substantially between individuals for reasons including genetics, baseline nutritional status, diet, sleep, activity level, and concurrent medications. Nothing on this site predicts or guarantees an outcome for you.

Research we cite

Where we reference published research, we cite it so you can read the source. Citing a study is not a claim that its findings apply to a specific commercial product, nor that they apply to you. Research on an ingredient is not research on a formula containing that ingredient.

Reporting adverse events

If you experience an adverse reaction to a dietary supplement, stop taking it and contact your healthcare provider. In the United States, report it to the FDA through the MedWatch programme and to the product manufacturer. Please also let us know at [email protected] so we can review our coverage — though note that we cannot give medical guidance in response.

RENATA FRANZOTE PEROZINI DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE LTDA accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information published on this site, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of this site is at your own risk and is governed by our terms of use.
